It has asked me repeatedly to re-pair the device with my Iphone after not being able to connect to BT, even while being within a few feet. Not impressed-I had the same problem with your Model 1, the Andiamo Go and a third unit that was a box-sale stereo device who's remote control function stopped working after 1 year ( despite new batteries in the remote).
As on my Anniversary Edition Model 1 I cannot use the provided power supply because I can get no radio reception as soon as I plug it into a power outlet. Same with the PAL BT.
What is up with providing the cheesiest, cheapest adapter with a quality device?
I bought my first PAL after hearing it in a cafe, being taken by the great, balanced sound it put out at good volume, back in 2001 or 2002. When I saw that Henry Kloss designed it I was not surprised any longer, since I am also an audio engineer.
The power supply with the units then lasted for 10 years under permanent use of the radio at home, in the car and on the road and it did not negatively impact the reception and reduce it to white noise.
Right now I am using my second Pal's power supply to charge my new PAL BT as well as to supply power to my Model 1. This is not just disappointing but also annoying .
This is the wrong way of saving a buck in production!
I sure would like a power supply that works for receiving a radio signal.
